What detection modes does the Omega Series support

Depending on the model, the Omega Series supports: fluorescence intensity (including FRET), luminescence (including BRET) and UV/vis absorbance.

Can Omega Series instruments be upgraded later

Yes, the Omega Series is fully modular and upgradeable. You can start with an absorbance‑only SPECTROstar or luminescence-only LUMIstar, and later upgrade to a fully equipped FLUOstar Omega or add extra detection modes when your research needs expand.
