Sustainability is a priority for research institutions worldwide. That’s why Conviron developed the GEN1000-ECO - an energy-smart growth chamber with a high-efficiency compressor that cuts energy use by up to 50%. A powerful step toward greener research practices.

Engineered for versatility across a wide range of plant science disciplines, the GEN1000-ECO provides a cost-effective and highly adaptable platform for controlled environment research. With configurable options for up to five tiers of growth area and energy-efficient LED lighting—including independently controlled far-red wavelengths—the GEN1000-ECO supports precise manipulation of photoperiods and spectral quality, enabling studies in plant morphology, photosynthesis, and stress physiology.

Its robust environmental control capabilities allow researchers to simulate temperature and light conditions, making it ideal for investigations involving tall crop species, in vitro tissue culture, seed viability and storage, as well as aquatic plant systems including algae and phytoplankton.
