The GEN1000-GE is specifically designed for gauging the health and performance of various seed lots under a wide range of environmental conditions. Applications include determining germination rates, vigor, seedling growth rates and other testing where tight environmental control is required.
This chamber comes standard with exceptional temperature and light uniformity and very high humidity control. To accommodate a wide range of seed types the GEN1000-GE features a temperature range from +4°C to +45°C – the lower temperatures being advantageous for prechilling to overcome dormancy.
The interior features a reflective white corrosion resistant design with five vertically adjustable shelves on the base unit and up to 10 optional shelves to maximize capacity and accommodate the full range of germination methods such as paper, soil, containers or other prescribed methods. The 27.6ft³ (781l) footprint and swivel casters ease mobility and make it ideal for positioning in facilities where space is limited.
