Liquid tight, stainless steel container for increased cleanliness, hygiene and protection of heaters from media and plastic spillage when sterilising ‘discard’ loads. Manufactured from stainless steel for optimum transmission of heat into the autoclave load.

Placed in the bottom of the container the floor holds the autoclave bags above any spilled waste in the container, reducing mess on the laboratory floor when the sterilised bags are removed from the container.

Provides protection for plastic building drains by reducing the temperature of the autoclave exhaust. Requires a reliable water supply at a minimum pressure of 3 BarG.

On difficult waste loads trapped air is driven out of the load during the heating stage of the cycle by repeatedly opening and closing the autoclave vent. The resultant turbulence removes air and improves steam penetration. Requires a seal drain for the autoclave. Not recommended for liquid loads.
